Russian air defense crews had shot down two Ukrainian drones |
International Military - Russia has shot down two Ukrainian drones that crossed the border. This shooting took place on the evening of Monday, April 25, 2022. The shooting by Russian troops took place in the Kursk region of Ukraine.
Quoted from The Defense Post, Kursk Governor Roman Strovoyt has conveyed about this shooting through his Telegram account. He said that Russian air defense crews had shot down two Ukrainian drones.
"Russian Air Defense crews shot down two Ukrainian drones in the Rylsky district on the border with Ukraine," he said. Roman Strovoyt said no one was injured in the shooting. Meanwhile, the damage is still under safe control.
Previously, Russia's Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that the largest fuel depot in the Russian city of Bryansk caught fire. The location of the fuel depot is about 200 kilometers or 125 miles north of Rylsk.
However, there is no direct evidence that explains the relationship between the two events. In early April, the governor of the Belgorod region, which is close to the Ukrainian border, reported an attack aimed at a fuel depot in the region.
The governor said the attack was carried out by a helicopter belonging to Kyiv. Russia has previously continued to accuse Ukrainian troops of launching attacks on their territory. As a result, Russian troops warned Ukraine that they would intensify attacks on the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv.
Until now, it is known that tensions between Russia and Ukraine are still continuing, since it happened on February 24, 2022. Since the conflict occurred, there has been a lot of loss between the two countries. The losses did not only come from material things, but it was also reported that there were people who became victims.
