International Military - Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban blames Jewish billionaire George Soros for Russia's war with Ukraine. According to Orban, the Hungarian-United States (US) billionaire is one of the instigators of the war in Ukraine.
In an interview with Kossuth radio on Friday (10/6/2022), Orban said that only peace will curb inflation and save the economy from further shocks.

However, he stressed that Ukraine has the right to defend itself. He also said that Hungary was now the only country that wanted peace.
Indeed, Budapest, unlike most other European capitals, has refused to send weapons to Ukraine. "We need to fund peace, not war," Orban said.
However, he emphasized that there are parties who are interested in prolonging the conflict. "It's pretty clear now that there are businesses interested in this war. George Soros epitomizes it. He spoke openly about the need to prolong the war. These are warmongers who want to cash in on the war," PM Orban said.
According to him, such warmongers must be held accountable. Last month, speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Soros said Russia's military offensive in Ukraine may be the start of World War III.
"And our civilization may not survive. The best and perhaps the only way to preserve our civilization is to defeat Putin as soon as possible," Soros said. Orban has long been one of Soros's fiercest critics.
In 2020, the Hungarian PM named Soros as the most corrupt person in the world, allegedly having a long list of politicians, journalists, judges, bureaucrats and political agitators disguised as members of civil society organizations on his payroll.

In 2017, Orban and Soros exchanged hostile comments. Orban accused Soros of trying to destroy Hungary and Soros, on the other hand, claimed that the Orban government oppressed the people more than during the Soviet occupation.
