United States (US)

United Kingdom / Britain
Britain is one of the countries in continental Europe that recognizes Israel as a sovereign state. This country also took part in the establishment of the Jewish state.
Germany
Israel's relations are now very close to Germany, although in the past the German Nazi regime was responsible for the massacre of European Jews known as the Holocaust. Now, Germany not only recognizes Israel as a sovereign state, but also establishes cooperation in the fields of education, economy and the military.
Egypt

Japan
Israel-Japan relations began on May 15, 1952 when Japan recognized Israel and an Israeli legation was opened in Tokyo. In 1955, a Japanese legation with a Plenipotentiary Minister opened in Tel Aviv. In 1963, the relationship was upgraded at the Embassy level, and it has remained at that level ever since.
