1. Howitzer Artillery System
The United States has sent 90 Howitzer artillery pieces to Ukraine against Russia. Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said 50 Ukrainians had also been trained to use it. The Pentagon has announced a military aid package to Ukraine worth $800 million. The package included 90 Howitzers and 183,000 rounds.
2. Javelin anti-tank missiles
Since Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24, 2022, the United States has delivered 5,500 Javelin anti-tank missiles. This anti-tank missile is manufactured by Raytheon and Lockhead Martin Javelin.
The Javelin missile was first developed in 1989. Equipped with two explosives, this Javelin anti-tank missile can penetrate the world's most advanced tank, the Russian T-90. With a range of 2,500 meters, this missile can be used in attack mode to destroy targets.
3. Armored and Tactical Vehicles
The United States has sent hundreds of armored vehicles to Ukraine. The vehicles include 200 M113 armored vehicles and 100 armored mobility multipurpose vehicles. In addition, the United States military also allocated 72 tactical vehicles to tow the 155-millimeter Howitzer artillery.
4. Switchblade Drones
The United States has sent hundreds of Switchblade drones to Ukraine since mid-March 2022. There are two types of Switchblade drones sent to Ukraine, namely Switchblade 300 and Switchblade 600.
The Switchblade 300 drone has the ability to target personnel and light vehicles. In addition, this type of 300 can also fly about six miles and hover over the target for 15 minutes. The Switchblade 600 drone has the ability to target tanks, can fly more than 24 miles, and stay in the air for 40 minutes.
5. Mi-17 . helicopter
The United States has delivered 11 Mi-17 helicopters to Ukraine. This helicopter has a variety of capabilities that can be used by Ukraine. This helicopter was first purchased by the United States to assist the Afghan military.
