Vladimir Putin Says The West Can't Keep Russia From the Outside World |
Moscow - Since the Russian invasion, Western countries have continued to provide support to Ukraine. This support is not only in the form of words, but also in the form of weapons sent to Ukraine.
The conflict, which began on Thursday, February 24, 2022, has brought Russia into various sanctions. The sanctions are a result of Russia's military operations in Ukraine. However, it seems that the sanctions did not make Putin feel afraid or let his guard down.
Quoted from the Times of India, Russian President Vladimir Putin firmly said that the West would not be able to separate Russia from the outside world. In fact, these imposed sanctions will not be able to reverse the time for Russia's development.
Regarding the sanctions that have been imposed since the beginning of the invasion, Putin said that this had indeed closed access. "Not only the restriction but the intentional closing of access to almost all foreign hi-tech products, he also added that this was indeed deliberately done by the West to Russia.
Putin also said that these sanctions would indeed be a formidable challenge for his country. However, he stressed that his troops should not give up on the situation.
In fact, on one occasion, the Russian president said that his country must develop domestic technology independently.
In this regard, the finance minister, Anton Siluanov has also given his support to the Russian technology sector. Which according to him this should be a priority.
Regarding these sanctions, the European Union also spoke up. Quoted from Al Jazeera, EU foreign ministers said that these sanctions on Russia had worked. In fact this is a good thing, although it will threaten the energy supply of the EU itself.
