| The List of 7 Countries That Can Develop And Have Ballistic Missiles |
International Military - Ballistic missiles are apparently not only owned by Russia. There are at least seven countries that are known to have this deadly weapon. Several countries in the world are known to have been able to produce ballistic missiles.
Even so, not all countries that produce these weapons have important components or materials. According to everycrsreport.com, companies from China and Russia are known to have become major sources of ballistic missile technology.
By having one of the deadliest weapons in the world, it can be a guarantee of a country's defense and military strength. Here are seven countries that have the International Military version of ballistic missiles:
1. Russia
Russia's supply of Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBM) in 2010 was estimated at 154 silo-based ballistic missiles and 159 mobile versions. A total of 18 types of ballistic missiles are owned by this country. The RS-20V (SS-18 Satan) is the best with a range of 10,200-16,000 km.
Followed by RS-12M Topol (SS-25 Sickle) with a distance of 10,500-11,000 km. This was done by Russia to defeat the United States' defense system, especially the Patriot 2/3 system. This country also had to send these weapons to Iran and China illegally in 2001.
2. China
Some experts believe that China has between 20 and 30 CSS-4s also known as Dong Feng (DF)-5 ICBMs. Not only that, the Bamboo Curtain country also continues to develop new medium-range ballistic missiles. There are about 24 types of ballistic missiles in China, with the DF-41 (CSS-X-20) being the most dangerous with a range of 12,000-15,000 km.
China's development in the field of weapons has made several western countries, including the United States, worried. Because China can attack multiple targets because it has a strong missile power and also has improved accuracy.
3. United States
The United States has indeed become one of Russia's biggest competitors. But for the number of weapons with nuclear warheads the US is still inferior to Russia.

4. North Korea
In 2003 North Korea began declaring its nuclear prowess, and many analysts believe its nuclear program is focused on developing nuclear warheads for short, medium, and long-range ballistic missiles.
A total of 18 types of ballistic missiles are owned by North Korea and the most dangerous is the KN-22/Hwasong-15 with a range of 13,000 km. On May 1, 2005, North Korea launched a short-range ballistic missile with a range of about 75 miles into the Sea of Japan, near the coast of Japan.
5. Iran
Perhaps many do not think that this country can also develop nuclear-armed ballistic missiles. On January 5, 2004, Iran's Minister of Defense reportedly announced that Iran would launch its satellite.
Iran has 15 types of ballistic missiles of which the most powerful is the Emad-1 with a range of 1,750-2,000 km. Most missiles from Iran are short to medium range.
6. India
India also has a fairly extensive ballistic missile program. The country reportedly tested the Agni I missile on January 9, 2003 and In December 2004, Russia and India agreed to build between 360 and 370 missiles annually, with the first delivery being carried out by the Indian Armed Forces.
There are 14 types of ballistic missiles in India, the average being short to medium range. The farthest range is owned by Agni-VI with a distance of 8,000-10,000 km.
7. Pakistan
Pakistan has received extensive assistance from China and North Korea in developing and producing missiles. China is also helping Pakistan with the development of nuclear weapons. The Hatf-2 and 3 are solid-fuel SRBMs possibly based on China's M-11 and M-9.
The Ghauri-I and Ghauri-II are reportedly based on (or copies of) North Korea's Nodong or even Taepo Dong-1 missiles. Pakistan has as many as 11 ballistic missiles with a top range of 1,500-2,500 km held by Shaheen-2 (Hatf-6).
