Sweden's prime minister did not provide details of military assistance to Ukraine but said it would be similar to previous assistance including anti-tank weapons, personal protective equipment and mine clearance equipment.
Quoted from Army Recognition, during a press conference, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba asked Sweden to provide the country with weapons such as howitzers and bullets. It was a 155mm self-propelled howitzer based on the modified Volvo A30D 6x6 articulated all-terrain vehicle.
Howitzers are designed and developed by the company BAE Systems. The first prototype of the vehicle was completed in 2010 and the Archer entered service with the Swedish army in February 2016. The Archer is armed with a 52 caliber 155mm gun using the cradle and recoil system design of the current generation FH 77B towing field howitzer.
