Quoted from Bulgarian Military, according to Turkish sources, Iran is ready to buy 24 Sukhoi Su-35 Flanker-E fighter jets ordered by Egypt from Russia. Even so, Russia did not send it. It is believed that after this purchase, Iran will make a second purchase of another 36 Russian aircraft carriers.

Egypt ordered 24 Sukhoi Su-35 Flanker-E fighter jets in early 2019, last March. The planes are already in production but are still sitting in the Sukhoi hangar. There are two main versions of why Egypt did not accept it. One version is a technical malfunction that prevented Egypt from fulfilling the contract. This version is impossible, because technical errors are always present in every production, and are fixed, even if the delivery period is extended.
The second version is Egypt's refusal to pay for the delivery of 24 fighters. Such resistance may be dictated by Cairo's fear of Washington not imposing heavy economic sanctions under the CAATSA law. Despite the claims, it is not yet known whether Egypt actually canceled the order.
