List of Countries with the Most Aircraft Carriers in the World |
International Military - Global Fire Power (GFP) ranks the world's military forces, from the strongest to the weakest. The strength is ordered based on the results of the PwrIndx score which is assessed based on several components, ranging from geographic area, military strength, to the number of war vehicles.
The smaller the PwrIndx value, the stronger the country's military power. Currently, the strongest military power is still held by the United States (US) with PwrIndx 0.0453. In some military aspects, the United States also outperformed other countries, including in the number of aircraft carriers. The aircraft carrier is the mainstay vehicle on a mission.
Its existence is considered very important in a mission because it becomes a stopover for planes that want to land. The following is a list of countries that have the most aircraft carriers in the world.
1. United States
The military power of the United States is unquestionable. The United States ranks first in the number of aircraft carriers in the world. Global Firepower noted the country has 11 aircraft carriers.
