Ukraine's 'Ukroboronprom' and US 'Honeywell'Aagree to Cooperate For the Production of UAVs To Radar |
International Military - Ukrainian defense industry corporation Ukroboronprom signed a cooperation agreement with American company Honeywell. Although details were not published, the cooperation includes the use of Ukrainian facilities to manufacture some Honeywell products or spare parts, Ukrainian news agency Ukrinform wrote on September 12.
The cooperation covers the development of aviation, such as UAV, navigation and radar. Honeywell Aerospace products and services can so far be found in almost all commercial, defense and aerospace aircraft.
Honeywell's business units manufacture aircraft engines, cockpit and related electronics, wireless connectivity systems, mechanical components and more.
While Ukroboronprom oversees companies operating in the development, manufacture, sale, repair, modernization and disposal of weapons, military and special equipment and ammunition, and participates in military-technical cooperation with foreign countries.
The organization has the functions of strategic planning, interaction with public authorities, and coordination with divisions. This approach allows top management of the organization to focus on the strategic decisions and long-term programs of the defense industry.
