Russia Plans to Test Advanced Robotic Shells for Soldiers |
Moscow - Russia plans to test exoskelaton military devices or shells to its troops. The skeleton-shaped device can improve personnel's ability to operate heavy weapons, such as artillery.
Maksim Skokov, general director of Exo Solutions, the company that developed the tool, said it had been approached by Russian authorities to conduct trials. "We were approached by representatives, not even from the Ministry of Defense but other specialized agencies. The artillery team was interested in a framework that could facilitate loading of shells," Skokov told Sputnik, quoted Tuesday (11/8/2022).
The company will conduct trials in November or December. At that time potential buyers can simultaneously evaluate the effectiveness of this sophisticated tool. Unfortunately Skokov did not mention in detail the potential buyers of the exoskelaton. It's just that he has been contacted by a special structure other than the Ministry of Defense. This tool should be able to increase the ability of Russian troops to carry out heavy weapons attacks, especially now that they are in conflict with Ukraine.
