Lukhovitsky Aviation Factory to Produce 19 Units Il-114-300 Aircraft |
Moscow - Lukhovitsky Aviation Plant, PA A Voronin, part of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) will produce 19 IL-114-300 aircraft in the next four years. Company CEO Sergey Timokhin said in a meeting with Moscow governor Andrey Vorobyov on November 18 that a production contract would be signed later this year.
He added that the second IL-114-300 flight test aircraft assembled at Lukhovitsy is scheduled to fly for the first time on December 26 this year. The company plans, in 2030 Voronin will produce up to 70 units of Il-114-300 at the factory in the Moscow Region. Deliveries of the first aircraft to the customer will begin with two aircraft in 2024.
In July 2021 at the MAKS airshow, airline Auora Airlines signed a lease agreement for 19 Il-114-300 with state transport leasing company PJSC II. The first prototype Il-114-300 turboprop aircraft took off on 16 December 2020. The aircraft was equipped with the TV7-117ST-01 turboprop engine, the same engine used on the Il-112V.
