The F-15 J is 19.4m long, has a wingspan of 13.1m and is 5.6m high. The gross weight of the fighter is around 25,000kg. The maximum range of the aircraft is about 2,500 nm (4,600 km).
Cockpit and Avionics F-15 J Eagle Fighter Jet
The F-15's projection display unit is a 4.5-inch by 4.5-inch Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) micro-projection-based smart screen. It has high optical capabilities for both head-up and helmet-mounted views.
Onboard avionics includes advanced display core processor (ADCP) II, ARC-210 Radio w/ secure voice video recorder and map set (VRAMS). The JASDF F-15J is equipped with an XJ/APQ-1 rear warning receiver.
The fighter jet is equipped with a digital fly-by-wire (FBW) flight control system with quad-channel FBW rudder and stabilizer actuator and dual-channel FBW aileron actuator.

Other missiles include the AGM-158B Joint Air-to-Surface Stand-off Missile-Extended Range (JASSM-ER) and AGM-158C Long Range Anti-Ship Missile (LRASM) which can also be fired from aircraft. F-15 J Eagle Fighter Jet Engines Two F100-PW(IHI)-220E Turbofan engines with afterburners were installed on the F-15J jet.
Each engine produces 25,000lb of thrust and allows the aircraft to reach a maximum speed of the M2.5 (1,875mph) at an altitude of 45,000ft. In addition to the default system, this Japanese fighter jet has been modified by adding 103 Raytheon Technologies AESA APG-82(V)1 radar sets, 116 ADCP II mission system computers and 101 ALQ-239 DEWS electronic warfare devices.
